Cilantro Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g chicken breast (about 1 pound)
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro / coriander finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger root grated
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 100 mL vegetable stock (a bit less than half a cup)
  • 1 dash black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
  • Heat the oil in the pan and fry the crushed garlic and grated ginger for about 30 seconds.
  • Add the chicken and cook for 3 minutes stirring continuously.
  • Add the honey, the soy sauce, the vegetable stock and pepper and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the cilantro and stir for 1 minute.
  • It s ready!

Notes

Before serving taste to see if you need salt. The soy sauce is already quite salty so better adding the salt at the end of the recipe if it is needed.
